Hey Goddess! Today we want to introduce you to Alicia Haisley-Muhammad, the multi-passionate Boss Ass Goddess behind Ameelah Essentials. B.A.G. Box : Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Hi! My name is Alicia Haisley-Muhammad and I’m the founder and CEO of Ameelah Essentials. I'm a mother, wife, healthcare provider, and now entrepreneur. My hobbies include spending time with my husband and kids, girls night with close friends, and of course elevating my business.

B.A.G. Box : How did you get to where you are today?

This all started in 2018 during my first pregnancy. I endured a lot of back pain and hip discomfort and "bath therapy" was the only thing that help me relax, destress and relieve my pain. After spending hundreds of dollars on bath salts, body oils and candles, I decided to make my own. I'm here to share my formula of relaxation with the world!! I never expected my business to grow as much as it has. I'm here today because of the love and support of Ameelah Essentials family!

B.A.G. Box : What does your self-care look like?

My self care looks like a nice relaxing bath with the lights off, candles lit, and soft music. Taking deep breaths in and out. Inhaling positivity, exhaling negativity. Taking a moment to meditate and reflect.

B.A.G. Box : What is your favorite crystal?

B.A.G. Box : What is your definition of a Boss Ass Goddess?

A Boss Ass Goddess to me holds her head high and never drops her crown. She’s a go getter and is always looking for the next thing to elevate herself. She is a motivator and inspiration to others. She may have a moment when she’s down, but she never stays down. She will adjust her crown and keep moving!

B.A.G. Box : What does the phrase collaboration over competition mean to you?

It means building each other up instead of tearing each other down. Helping one another to get to that next level so everyone wins.
